What is the difference between records management and what an archivist does?
Records Management is the process that develops systems and procedures for records that are of value to a company during their business life. An archivist works with records for historical purposes, after their business life.

Does Naremco do file conversion, scanning or imaging?
We work with our clients to make sure they are asking the right questions of the companies who do provide these services. We also help to develop the business processes and procedures that need to be in place before a client hires a service bureau or purchases hardware or software. In essence, we can help develop the criteria needed for selecting a vendor and we can then help the client make the final choice. Is Naremco affiliated with any filing, storage or software product?
Naremco is not affiliated with any vendor. As consultants, we help clients decide on the best products or vendors to address their filing, storage and software needs. We can recommend quality vendors that we know to be good and that will be in-line with a client's needs and budget. We also review vendor proposals and help clients to decide on the best products to meet their needs.

What geographic area do you cover?
The world. Our market area is not limited by geography. Whether a company is in New York or New Delhi, we are able to service them.

How does Naremco charge for services?
After initial discussions with the client, we develop a cost proposal that is based on the scope of the project and a mutual understanding of the client's needs. These costs are based on rates that are supplied in the proposal. It is always our goal to work within a client's budget. We bill back any travel and transportation costs needed, always following our clients' company guidelines on travel.
